As we celebrate the launch of our new Sydney Flagship Boutique, we partnered with local Australian artist Adrianne Dimitrakakis of Atlas to create an exclusive scarf and sarong design tilted the 'Sydney Sun' — exclusively available at The New Trend. 

Partnering with Adrianne, we've crafted something truly special for our customers – a versatile clothing item that effortlessly blends art and fashion, allowing for various styling possibilities. Our collaboration with the talented Adrienne reflects our commitment to go beyond the ordinary, creating a design that transcends mere attire.

Through exploring and workshopping Adrianne's design style, she brought our 'Sydney Sun' vision to life, creating a wearable artwork. The artwork was inspired by the turquoise sea, sunshine-filled mornings and afternoons all lived by the beach. All these elements through colour came to mind while Adrianne created 'Sydney Sun.' 

Adrianne is a contemporary artist, who's paintings are born from her travels. Her art style features bold complimentary colours, heavy textures and a worn aesthetic. It gives the viewer a feeling of nostalgic murals you might find overseas. Adrianne’s artworks utilise a vintage aesthetic to convey memories of the many places passed through, and of those yet to be found. 

She is inspired by the many cultures, places around the world and the little things discovered while on the road; textured walls, fruit stands, old signage and collected trinkets along the way.  Combining this with vivid hues and a sunny disposition Adrianne’s work remind the viewer of simple pleasures and exploration.
