Inside our Eco-Indigo launch: A milestone in sustaintable denim

We had the pleasure of hosting an intimate lunch with LA-based denim brand Citizens of Humanity to celebrate the launch of their innovative Eco-Indigo Collection—an industry-first revolution in sustainable denim. This collection redefines the future of responsible fashion, setting a new benchmark for eco-conscious production. You can read more about the initiative here. Guests, including Caroline Tran, Brooke Testoni, Talisa Sutton, Victoria Burns, Jess Pecoraro, dressed in styles from the new collection, enjoyed an intimate afternoon and had the opportunity to hear from Citizens of Humanity Creative Director Marianne McDonald about the initiative.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Sydney’s Bondi Beach, the event took place at the iconic Icebergs Dining Room—a fitting venue, as it also reflects Citizens of Humanity’s commitment to sustainability. Embracing eco-conscious practices, the restaurant features a 95% induction-based kitchen powered by renewable energy and prioritises sourcing produce from local Australian farmers, fishers, and producers.

Partnering with TNT to exclusively launch our Eco Indigo collection in Australia is deeply meaningful to us. Vanessa Spencer and the TNT team are incredibly talented—creative forces when it comes to curating thoughtful, elevated spaces that allow our product to shine. They’ve created a stunning environment where conscious design and style can coexist beautifully, and we’re proud to be showcased in a setting that reflects the values and aesthetics we care deeply about. Eco Indigo is a major step in our commitment to reduce our environmental impact—a bio-based dye that cuts oil dependency and CO₂ emissions without compromising on quality. Sharing this innovation with TNT, a partner who understands both the artistry and urgency of what we’re building, makes this moment even more meaningful.

Marianne McDonald - Creative Director

"At TNT, our partnership with Citizens of Humanity Group has always been grounded in shared values — a deep commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and doing things differently. So to be their exclusive partner for the Australian launch of this global innovation is a real honour." - Vanessa Spencer, The New Trend Co-Founder and Brand Director

The event seamlessly united both brands, offering a curated experience of exceptional food, handcrafted cocktails, and a shared commitment to innovation in fashion—all tied together with a denim-inspired theme in the styling.
