Citizens of Humanity Group, the umbrella company for global denim brands Agolde and Citizens of Humanity is leading the way in sustainable fashion with their latest initiative, introducing Eco-Indigo – a groundbreaking bio-based dye developed in collaboration with Pili and Orta. This innovative dye harnesses renewable resources like sugar, using green chemistry and fermentation to significantly cut energy use and CO₂ emissions.
“With our pioneering bio-indigo dye, we are redefining sustainability standards in the denim industry," says Jeremie Blache, CEO of Pili. "By combining biotechnology with green chemistry principles, we are delivering a high-performance solution that meets the growing demand for circularity, sustainability, and safety. Our bio-based dyes address some of the most environmentally harmful applications in textiles, inks, polymers, and coatings.”
Pili’s mission is to produce sustainable dyes and pigments that minimise the environmental footprint of the colour industry. By integrating industrial fermentation with green chemistry, Pili creates high-performance colour ranges, tackling pollution across textiles, inks, polymers, and paints & coatings.
We're thrilled to launch this collection exclusively in Australia at The New Trend.
