Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive cocktail party with New Zealand designer Harris Tapper to celebrate the launch of their Spring Summer 25 collection, exclusive to TNT Melbourne.

The event took place at Apollo Inn, the sister cocktail bar of the renowned restaurant Gimlet. Guests mingled, enjoyed Gimlet’s signature cocktails, and indulged in canapés throughout the evening. Our aim was to create an intimate experience that seamlessly brought together both brands, offering a perfect blend of food, drinks, and fashion.

Guests included Sarah Lucas, Tessa James, Jess Alizzi, Michelle Banares, Paris Wycherley, Ariana Tapsell, and the founders and designers of Harris Tapper, Sarah Harris Gould and Lauren Tapper, who joined us from New Zealand.

For Spring Summer 25, Harris Tapper embraces a refined sense of elegance, with classic shapes, juxtaposed fabrics, and a focus on permanence. This collection reinvents the modern woman’s wardrobe, elevating timeless essentials.

Knotted, bonded satin extends vintage silhouettes, drawing inspiration from 1960s couture. Elsewhere, flocked velvet floral prints are applied to ruched sheer mesh tops, dresses, and tights, redefining eveningwear for the Harris Tapper woman. Silk off-the-shoulder dresses are printed to appear watery and dip-dyed, flowing gracefully off the body. 

The brand’s signature pieces return, including the oversized t-shirt, now updated with hand-beaded pearls, bringing sophistication to the everyday, alongside cargo pants in fluid cream satin.
