The James Street Boutique embodies quiet luxury with a balance of design, form and function. Designed with AKI Interior Studio, the boutique redefines luxury retail through a calm, architectural space that draws on Californian influences and Brisbane’s relaxed lifestyle. Known for creating emotionally resonant environments defined by expressive materials and timeless design, AKI has layered bespoke furniture, natural textures and soft lighting to create a fluid and organic atmosphere.
The boutique also brings together a collective of local makers: Sarah Nedovic, a Melbourne-based creative celebrated for her sculptural ceramics that merge intuition, materiality and light; Studio Tops, the experimental workshop by Simone Tops where materials evolve into sculptural forms through process and innovation; and pieces by Australian designers including Rachel Donath and Zenn Design, which further enrich the space.
