Get-to-know our Buyer Sarah

Favourite restaurant in Melbourne? It's so hard to pick one, but all my favourites are in Melbourne's northside. I love Smith & Daughters as a go-to plant-based dining experience. And I can't go past some favourite spots like Carlton Wine Room, Waxflower or my local fave Marama Wine Bar for something more intimate.

What do you love most about your job? Behind the scenes, there's an orchestration to make each season come together smoothly. Every day is different, which is what I love. Working with amazing global designers and beautiful products brings out my creative side, but I also enjoy the challenge of bringing everything together cohesively.

What are 3 trends to watch for the season?

1. Red. A lot of our designers are bringing red hues this season across various silhouettes and fabrications, it's so refreshing to see that pop of colour.

2. The denim trend is not slowing down; we are seeing so many different shapes popular with our customers. However, the one to try this season is the barrel leg - which has a little drama to it!

3. Monochromatic head-to-toe outfitting — while this isn't exactly new, it's still very prevalent in the collections and makes a statement when worn as a full look. I especially love the utilitarian spin that we will see from Wardrobe.NYC and Christopher Esber this season.

If you could pick any designer from TNT to wear forever, who would it be? We have just launched Wardrobe.NYC and I have to say I love every style and collection – elevated, understated and easy to mix so many pieces together. Plus, the coats and blazers are pieces you will own forever.

And last, what is your coffee order? It's finally hot in Melbourne, so I am finally ordering an iced black one with a splash of oat milk.
