Terms & Conditions

 

  1. Eligibility

To become a member of the TNT Collective Program (Program), you must be 18 years or older; provide your name and valid email address; and confirm your agreement to receive marketing communications from The New Trend.  Participation in this Program constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Employees and immediate family of The New Trend are not eligible to join the Program. 
 

  1. Membership
By creating an account with The New Trend, you will automatically be enrolled in the Program.  Upon joining the Program, you will be allocated a member status based on your transaction spend within a rolling a 12-month period.  The Program is for your own personal use only; membership is not transferable and may not be used for commercial purposes.  The New Trend may request identification to confirm your identity when joining the Program or redeeming benefits to ensure your membership is not used for fraudulent purposes.  Members may only have one account.


  1. Membership tiers

    a) 
    Standard Membership – Spend up to $6,999 within a rolling 12-month period
    b) VIP Membership – Spend $7,000+ within a rolling 12-month period.

Every time you shop at The New Trend’s Australian stores or online at www.thenewtrend.com.au and provide your email address, the amount of your purchase (excluding any delivery costs and after savings and discounts) will be recorded against your membership.   Purchases of gift vouchers are excluded from your spend balance. Please allow up to 24 hours for purchases to be recorded against your membership. 

All valid purchases will contribute to your loyalty status. Once you have qualified for a VIP membership, you will retain this status tier. A Member’s loyalty status will be reviewed monthly based on your transactions.

  1. Loyalty Benefits

Standard Membership Status

All members of the Program will receive the following benefits:

a) Sign up bonus: This is issued to members on joining the Program. The Sign up bonus is for one time use; can only be redeemed at thenewtrend.com.au and not in stores.  Brand exclusions may apply. Offer is subject to change and or/expire after a reasonable period of time.

b) Standard domestic shipping: Members will receive free standard shipping on all online orders at thenewtrend.com.au within Australia. 

c) Early access to sales & promotions: Members will have the opportunity to gain early access to sales and promotions. These promotions are subject to terms & conditions supplied at the time of each promotion.

VIP Membership Status: 

VIP members will also receive the following additional exclusive benefits:

a) 10% discount all year round. VIP members will receive a 10% discount off full priced merchandise (brand exclusions apply). This offer can be used in-store and online with your exclusive online code. This offer cannot be combined with any other offers.

b) Free express domestic shipping for online orders over $500. VIP members will receive free express shipping on orders over $500 (after savings and discounts) online at thenewtrend.com.au. This offer cannot be combined with any other offers, unless otherwise stated; and

c) Invitation to special in-store events: Issued at The New Trend’s discretion.

 5. Benefits terms & conditions

a) Qualifying purchases and offer redemptions can only be made at the TNT The New Trend Australia store and online at thenewtrend.com.au.

b) Benefits are not transferable or exchangeable for cash; are valid for one transaction unless otherwise stated; are forfeited if the purchase is returned (unless faulty); and automatically expire on the stated date. No change will be given for any unused portion of a benefit.  Lost or stolen benefits will not be replaced

c) Benefits cannot be applied to purchase of gift cards

d) The New Trend reserves the right to:

a.   amend or make additional terms & conditions for any Program offers; and
b.   offer members only exclusives and promotions at any given time.

e) Your membership can hold benefits to a maximum total value of $5000 only.

f) The New Trend will endeavour to notify you of all eligible benefits however does not accept liability for any failure to do so.

g) The New Trend reserves the right to cancel any benefits part of the TNT Collective Loyalty Program at any given time.

 

  1. Merchandise Returns

If you return any merchandise purchased using the sign up bonus or other discount offered as part of the Program, you will receive a refund of the amount paid only and not the full purchase price.  The sign up bonus will also be forfeited except where the merchandise is returned because it is faulty product or otherwise required by law.

  1. Termination or withdrawal of membership.

You may cancel your TNT Collective membership at any time by contacting The New Trend at customercare@thenewtrend.com.au. You can also unsubscribe from The New Trend marketing emails at any time by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of each email, or by writing to customercare@thenewtrend.com.au.  If your membership is cancelled all Program benefits will be forfeited.

The New Trend may terminate a membership at any time without further notice if it has reason to believe that a member has not complied with these terms & conditions. 

  1. Liability

The New Trend and its associated agencies and companies are not responsible for any problems, delays, or inability to operate this Program; any liability for emails which are misdirected, not received or lost; or any technical malfunction beyond The New Trend’s control.  To the maximum extent permitted by law, The New Trend excludes all liability for any loss (including indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury, or death which is suffered or sustained in connection with this Program.   This Program and related services are provided to you on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied under laws other than those that cannot be lawfully excluded, including without limitation warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. From time to time, there may be information on The New Trend website or in other promotional materials that contains typographical or other errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. The New Trend reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information. 

  1. Privacy

The New Trend’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information will be governed in accordance with its privacy policy available at https://thenewtrend.com.au/pages/privacy-policy.  Program members consent to receive marketing communications, news and special offers from The New Trend from time to time. You acknowledge that a primary purpose of the Program is to engage in marketing communications with you, however, you may contact us at any time to change how The New Trend communicates with you, including opting out of marketing communications or not receiving communications via email or SMS.  To unsubscribe, simply click to unsubscribe from the bottom of any of The New Trend's email marketing communications.

  1. General Terms and Conditions

    a) No transfer: Membership accounts or rewards cannot be assigned, transferred or combined with other accounts.

    b) Errors: The New Trend reserves the right to cancel or reverse any benefits issued in error or remove any transaction which has been cancelled or reversed or where The New Trend reasonably believes fraudulent or inappropriate conduct has occurred.

    c) Discontinuation: The New Trend may at any time by notice to members, amend, discontinue, withdraw or terminate the Program at any time.

    d) Variations: The New Trend may amend these terms and conditions at any time by publishing them at thenewtrend.com.au

    e) Waiver: Any delay or failure by The New Trend in exercising its rights under these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of those rights, unless such waiver is in writing and signed by an authorised representative of The New Trend. 

    f) Changes to your details: To ensure you receive information about the Program, please advise Forever New of any changes to your name or contact details.  The New Trend may request that you provide additional information to verify these changes.

    g) Currency: All amounts stated in these terms and conditions are in Australian dollars.

    h) Governing law: These terms and conditions are governed by Australian law.

    i) Interaction with other terms: These terms and conditions are additional to any other terms and conditions and policies that apply to your purchases, return of goods, use of thenewtrend.com.au or any other voucher, discount, or offer of The New Trend.
