TNT x Agolde | exclusive Cali-inspired event

The New Trend partnered with AGOLDE for an intimate and purposeful luncheon event in Melbourne to celebrate AGOLDE’s newest collection and journey into regenerative agriculture.

AGOLDE, a Los Angeles-born denim label known for pushing the boundaries in both design and sustainable innovation, arrived at the Australian shores to join forces with us.

The event was hosted by TNT Brand Director, Vanessa Spencer, and held at the new rooftop restaurant, Beverly, inspired by Southern California with a modern Australian take, sitting just above Chapel Street with breathtaking views of the Melbourne cityscape. What transpired at the luncheon was a genuine and meaningful dialogue of what’s ahead in style and sustainability, including a preview of AGOLDE’s venture into regenerative agriculture.

The exclusive event hosted guests including Nadia Bartel, Holly Lyle, Effie Kats, Lana Wilkinson and many more. Guests sat amongst vibrant florals from Armadale’s finest Le Salon Aux Fleurs, enjoying a curated menu of Burrata with truffle fondu, King salmon carpaccio, Lobster cannoli, and much more alongside the vibrant breakfast cocktails complementing the Californian theme. The venue's open kitchen and bar respect core values of transparency, made from an ethically sourced selection of the finest ingredients to mirror the values of AGOLDE.

“Our intention is to reinvent the way denim is made for good. By shifting towards the use of regenerative materials, our industry can collectively make a difference in the fight against climate change. Our goal as a company is to motivate as many as possible to become part of the regenerative agriculture movement.”

– Amy Willams, CEO

Guests were given an educational experience into Citizens of Humanity Group’s pioneering partnership with Kiss The Ground across the company’s portfolio of brands (which includes Citizens, AGOLDE, and GOLDSIGN) on a fresh approach for promoting regenerative agriculture and regenerative cotton. “Kiss the Ground” Cotton was born as the new industry benchmark in regenerative cotton, and as of earlier this year, the Citizens Group has produced 1,000,000 lbs of regenerative cotton that will be implemented through the company’s Fall collections and beyond. Citizens of Humanity Group VP, Shelley Barham, spoke about what makes the brand unique, giving insight into their regenerative cotton journey, as well as the intentions for the year ahead.
