At The New Trend, we’ve always believed that the best retail experiences are about more than product. They’re about creating spaces that inspire discovery, conversation and connection.
This August, we’re proud to introduce House of Denim, a six-month residency created in partnership with AGOLDE and Citizens of Humanity.
Opening on Saturday 15 August at 1071 High Street, Armadale, House of Denim brings together the brands’ women’s and men’s collections in one dedicated space, creating a destination for premium denim and contemporary dressing.
For us, House of Denim is more than a new store. It’s the beginning of a new chapter.
As our business continues to evolve, we’re always looking for new ways to showcase the brands we believe in. House of Denim gives us the opportunity to create a dedicated environment where customers can discover two of the world’s leading denim brands in a way that’s immersive, considered and true to everything they represent.
The idea was born from a longstanding partnership with the Citizens of Humanity Group. Over the years, we’ve built a relationship grounded in a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, quality and thoughtful design. House of Denim is a natural extension of that partnership and a chance to tell the story of both brands in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Inside House of Denim, AGOLDE and Citizens of Humanity come together in a way Australian customers haven’t experienced before. Bringing together each brand’s women’s and men’s collections alongside iconic denim fits and a curated ready-to-wear offering, the space has been designed as a dedicated destination for discovering the full expression of both brands.
"House of Denim is a natural extension of our longstanding partnership with Citizens of Humanity and AGOLDE. We've always believed the best retail experiences come from giving great brands the space to tell their story, and this residency allows us to do exactly that. It's an opportunity to create a dedicated destination for premium denim and contemporary dressing, while giving our customers something new to discover over the next six months."
- Vanessa Spencer, Co-Founder and Brand Director, The New Trend
"After visiting Australia last year and partnering with The New Trend to introduce our bio-based indigo innovation, it's incredibly exciting to return with House of Denim. The New Trend shares our belief that great retail is about more than product, it's about creating meaningful experiences and building community. This residency allows us to showcase the full expression of our brands, from our newest collections and iconic denim fits to seasonal ready-to-wear and our growing men's business. It's also an important milestone as we continue investing in the Australian market."
- Marianne McDonald, Creative Director, Citizens of Humanity
House of Denim also marks the first step in The New Trend’s menswear journey. Alongside Citizens of Humanity's women’s collection, we’ll introduce dedicated men’s collections from AGOLDE and Citizens of Humanity, offering a first glimpse of what’s to come as we continue to expand our premium lifestyle offering.
Located at 1071 High Street, House of Denim sits just moments away from The New Trend’s newly refurbished flagship boutique at 1038 High Street, creating two complementary destinations in the heart of Armadale, Melbourne.
House of Denim opens to the public on Saturday 15 August, 2026.
We look forward to welcoming you to discover the space, explore the collections and experience the next chapter of The New Trend.
