Fall dressing with Vanessa

Fall dressing with Vanessa

We sat down with our Brand Director Vanessa to talk through the season ahead. Styling a series of looks from both local and international designers including Citizens of Humanity, Wardrobe.NYC, Magda Butrym and Róhe, she shares how she’s approaching fall dressing and the pieces she’s most excited about.

What is your style tip for fall?

This season, we’re mixing textures and not being afraid to have a little fun with accessories. That might mean incorporating an animal print through a pant, or carrying the detail through to a bag or shoe while grounding the look with strong foundational pieces. It’s about building interest through subtle contrasts while maintaining a sense of balance.

What are you looking forward to this season?

Leather and suede. We have some incredible suede and leather pieces arriving at TNT from designers including Nour Hammour, Anine Bing, DARKPARK and Nili Lotan, with much more to come. These are the kinds of investment pieces that instantly elevate a fall wardrobe and bring depth to everyday dressing.

How do you elevate knitwear for everyday dressing?

It really comes down to how you balance the knit with the rest of the look. Pairing knitwear with tailored pieces, like a structured trouser or a refined belt, instantly elevates it and gives the outfit a more polished feel. I also like to keep the palette tonal and minimal, which allows the textures to stand out while maintaining a clean, considered look.

Which brands are you loving this season?

I love all of our designers, but I’m particularly excited about Nour Hammour, a Paris-based outerwear label known for its beautifully crafted leather and shearling pieces that blend timeless design with a modern edge. Ronny Kobo is another favourite this season, especially for its play on texture and silhouette, which ties perfectly into how we’re styling fall. And of course Citizens of Humanity, who truly understand denim. A great pair of jeans is such an essential part of every wardrobe, and they consistently deliver on both fit and quality.

What makes an outfit versatile for both work and evening plans?

Tailoring. Pieces like a structured trench from Wardrobe.NYC instantly create a polished look that works for the office while still feeling elevated enough for evening. Keeping the palette minimal also makes it easy to transition from day to night with just a few subtle styling changes, like switching your shoes or adding jewellery.
