Set within the private residence of Jess Pecoraro, an intimate afternoon brought together friends of the brand to celebrate De La Vali’s Spring Summer 26 collection, Luna, available exclusively at The New Trend.
Alongside De La Vali Founder and Creative Director Jana Sascha, who flew in from London to attend the event, guests included Montana Cox, Pip Edwards, Tahnee Atkinson, Nadia Fairfax-Wayne, Brooke Testoni and Rachelle Rowlings.
Guests were dressed in the collection, alongside Anna Rossi accessories. They enjoyed personalised tarot readings as custom De La Vali palo santo sticks burned throughout the afternoon. A Spanish-inspired grazing table was complemented by Luna sphere shaped ice cubes in Negronis, enhancing the otherworldly atmosphere.

Founded in Ibiza in 2017, De La Vali is a womenswear label shaped by the hedonistic and bohemian soul of the island and the warmth of Spanish culture. The Spanish-inspired interior of Jess’s home provided the perfect setting to bring guests together to celebrate the new collection.
How do you want a woman to feel when she wears De La Vali? "Like the most beautiful version of herself, empowered and magnetic." - Jana Sascha, Founder & Creative Director
The Luna collection captures a sense of escapism and expression, balancing fluidity with drama and sensuality with strength. This afternoon felt like a natural extension of that world. Elongated, ethereal silhouettes glide across the body, with zebra-print chiffon sweeps and draped fabrics transforming form into something dreamlike. Sculpted and exaggerated shapes evoke surrealism and fantasy, while liquid fabrics pour through signature lunar-shaped hardware, anchoring the collection in celestial symbolism.
How does the Australian sensibility align with the De La Vali aesthetic?
"Interestingly, the brand is named after an Australian artist from the 1960s, Vali Myers. Vali left Australia at just 19 and went on to live a beatnik, bohemian life dancing barefoot through the streets of Paris, before eventually settling in a cave on the Amalfi Coast in Positano. There, she created her art surrounded by wild animals she had taken under her wing, including her beloved pet fox. She would later sell her work in New York while living at the Chelsea Hotel. Vali was a true enigma. Her free-spirited, bold personality, mystic presence, and enchanting way of being have served as a constant pillar of inspiration for the brand.
The De La Vali aesthetic is rooted in the unbound, free-spirited Ibizan lifestyle. It's built on an effortless sensibility, a carefree attitude shaped by life by the sea while still understanding the art of dressing up. That's where the Australian sensibility aligns so naturally. Australian women instinctively understand the rhythm of moving from beach to bar and beyond. There's an ease and confidence in that transition, a balance between relaxed and refined, that feels completely in sync with the De La Vali world" says Jana.
