ROAME Resort 27: Reflections in Brisbane

ROAME Resort 27: Reflections in Brisbane

To celebrate the launch of ROAME’s Resort 27 collection, The New Trend hosted an intimate lunch at Golden Avenue in Brisbane, bringing together a considered group of tastemakers, creatives, stylists and friends of the brand.

Coinciding with The New Trend’s exclusive early release of ROAME’s November delivery, guests were among the first to discover the collection ahead of its wider launch.

Set against Golden Avenue’s resort-like architecture and greenery, the afternoon brought the world of ROAME to life through beautiful food, considered details and guests dressed in the new collection.

Reflections

There is a particular quality of light that only exists in memory: softened at its edges, warmer than it ever truly was.

It arrives with the scent of salt air, a flash of silk rippling on a balcony, the shimmer of a pool at the hour when nobody swims. This is where Reflections begins.

ROAME Resort 27 looks back not with longing, but with pleasure. Every fabrication and bespoke print draws from a place or moment once lived, and to wear Reflections is to carry those places with you

"For me, this range is an act of looking back. It evokes the feel of an old manor house rich in art, textiles, and lush gardens. I wanted to capture the romance of aged lace, intricate crochets, gathered treasures, and rich, tactile furniture.

Every print was developed in close collaboration with artists, making them truly original and unique to ROAME.

Ultimately, my hope is that when you wear these pieces, you carry those quiet moments and special places with you."

- Hannah Little, Design Manager, ROAME.

An afternoon at Golden Avenue

Tucked away within Brisbane’s James St Precinct, Golden Avenue offered a relaxed setting that felt naturally aligned with the collection. Its architecture, natural light and resort-like greenery created the backdrop for a long lunch celebrating the new season.

The world of Reflections carried through the afternoon in subtle details drawn from the collection. Soft yellow and orange florals echoed its palette, while hand-drawn artwork inspired the custom menus and place cards. Lace from the collection was reimagined into crossbody pouches, gifted to guests and placed at each setting.

The Middle Eastern-inspired menu was served generously across the table, accompanied by the ROAME. Reflections cocktail and a bespoke Lebanese mochi dessert with frozen yoghurt parfait, Iranian pistachios and rose.

Guests including Nicki Han, Kirri Johnston, Kayla Boyd, Cat Sanz & Rachael Armstrong joined us for the afternoon, alongside Brisbane creatives, stylists and friends of the brand.
